Happy First Birthday, Jordy!
On February 16, my little Jordan Brianne turned one. I cannot believe how much time has gone by since she was born, but she's such a big part of our family that we can hardly remember our lives without her. She's an adorable, cuddly, sweet, wild and daring ball of energy who has just learned to walk and absolutely loves playing with her sister and her "brothers" (Spike the dog, Spooky and Cassius the kitties). There's never a dull moment when she's around, and she really keeps Mommy and Daddy on our toes, but we love that about her. Happy Birthday to my sweet little Jordy! These photos are a few weeks old (I took them for her party invites), but I'll be sure to add pics from the party itself very soon.

One Reason I Rarely Mop the Floor
Yesterday was cleaning day. I spent at least 3 straight hours in the afternoon cleaning the entire downstairs of our house. One of my tasks was to vacuum and mop (very well, might I add) the kitchen floor. As many of you know, we have a little "hallway" from our kitchen to our coat closet, and at the end of the "hall" is where we keep Spike's food and water dishes, out of the way of everything.
Well, while I was on another task, cleaning the bathroom possibly, I realized I hadn't heard much from Jordan for a while, and went to investigate. I found that she had slopped every drop of water out of Spike's dish and was licking the water off her hands. Don't worry too much, I had just scrubbed his dishes clean as well. But, needless to say, my freshly mopped floor needed some re-mopping. Instead of getting upset, though, I got out my camera, because who can really get angry with this little cutie?!
