We've settled in to our little life here, and I'm loving being home with the girls. I know it's only temporary, but I like the stay-at-home mom gig. I have just a few more weeks to enjoy it. Jordan is pretty much an angel, just like Harlie was at this age. She only cries when she's hungry, and we often have to wake her to eat so we don't hear much fussing. She wakes us twice at night and Mikey and I have been taking turns feeding her so neither of us is exhausted. Many of you have been asking how Harlie is adjusting, and I feel like I owe you more of an answer, but all I can say is she's doing fine. It's as if Jordan was always here. Harlie doesn't whine about things, and she's very helpful. She says Jordan is cute, and she checks on her a lot to make sure she's okay, or just to see what she's doing, but she's not obsessed with her either. Things haven't really changed much for her. We have been waking her up at night and in the early morning, I'm afraid, so her sleep patterns are changing a bit. I do feel badly about that, but once the baby starts sleeping through the night we may be able to go back. For right now, though, we're enforcing an earlier bedtime so she's not missing so many hours of sleep. And she has been requesting her nap a bit earlier the past few days, so at least she knows how to make things work. Thanks for reading if you got this far - I'll caption below the photos. Love you guys!

WOW is Jordan so alert in these pictures. She is absolutly beautiful as with lil miss Harlie as well. It's amazing how the littlest things such as Harlie asking for her nap earlier shows how sleep savvy she is, she's smart. Seeing the pic with Mike holding her in the same pose as the one with Harlie made my heart smile because each girl will have a similar thing to share when they are older. I see Harlie does love her and i am glad that settling is is coming along ok. Jess take the rest of your time you have off and spend it doing nothing, or playing silly games with Harlie, or heck sleep when the girls are both napping....
p.s. that pic with Harlie and the berries cracks me up. Seeing her reminds me so much of a little Rayanne and I look at her in awe now and wonder just where that little toddler went off to :( They grow up way too fast. Hug them while your allowed to in public, and sing silly songs in the car before they become tweens, because thats "embarassing" says Rayne. Oh well I would so love to meet Jordan but Rayne's health hasn't been the best. She is now cyber-schooled so we can work around dr. apointments. ntm all the snow! Yikes when it starts to melt im gonna have a flood. I should take pics.
BTW I GOT FULL SOLE CUSTODY of RY. He's home with his mommy and sisters right where he should and never will I have to worry about him.
HUGS!!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL
Love the pictures and the update!! Glad to hear everyone is adjusting well. Both of your girls are just beautiful, Jess. Amber said she saw some pictures you posted and agrees with what I have said all along; Harlie may have Mike's features, but her expressions make her a picture of you!! What a beautiful/cool/fun combination. :) XOXO
Beautiful girls Jess! Being themom of two princess is just amazing! So glad you joined the club! :) The pictures are great and I just love seeing all of them. Can't wait to get together sometimes before they all go off to college...
